Aqualand Divers can provide the training that suits you. Courses are run on a regular basis and we limit the number of students according to the course needs and individual requirements.
Never Dived Before?
Why not experience it with a Try Dive. These are carried out at either of our two regular pools and are supervised by our experienced Instructors. Before entering the water we will show you how to put together your equipment and how it works, explain some simple diving physics and also show you how to give and respond to diving hand signals. After that, it's into the pool where you will learn some simple skills and then it's time to enjoy near weightlessness without having to go to outer-space and the exhilarating experience of being able to breathe underwater. It's almost guaranteed that after trying it, you'll be hooked and want to go further!
You will need your swimming costume, a t-shirt (which will get wet) and a towel to dry off after the try dive.

Pool Sessions
Tuesday evenings, between 9pm and 10pm, at Colchester Leisure World
Saturday evenings, between 7pm and 8pm, at Bramston Sports Centre, Witham
If you are a certified diver and have your own equipment, you are more than welcome to just turn up at the pool and get wet! If you want to use our equipment, please contact us so that we can ensure we have enough equipment available.
PLEASE NOTE:

A small fee is charged to cover pool costs & equipment hire if applicable

For both Tuesday and Saturday sessions, please arrive 15-30 minutes earlier to set up equipment, etc.

If you are certified and it is your first time at one of our pool sessions, please bring along your certification card to avoid disappointment
